Liposuction

Liposuction is a procedure which has become one of the most popular treatments for excess superficial fat accumulation. Problem areas such as love handles, saddlebags, lower abdominal pouching, and upper arm fat pockets may be treated successfully with the latest liposuction surgeries.

Now available in Tumescent Liposuction and ultrasonic assisted liposculpture technique, the goal of liposuction is to remove fat through small incisions which are almost invisible. Liposuction may be done under general or local anesthesia and may remove up to five liters of fat in one setting. Following surgery, in general, it is important to wear compression garments which are provided at surgery for three weeks.

The skin usually is expected to feel somewhat loose and may be slightly numb for about three months following surgery. You may experience some contraction and tightening of the skin with time.
