Facial Implants

Cheek and chin implants are available at our practice to help create shapely facial contours that are smooth and well defined. Candidates for these procedures include men and women with facial features that are asymmetrical, not well developed, or that have lost volume due to the normal aging process. Cheek Implants

Cheek implants are placed though incisions either inside the upper lip or beneath the lower eyelid. The implants are generally placed directly above the cheekbone, but their position can be altered depending upon the patient’s facial structure and cosmetic goals.

Cheek implants provide balance and fullness and can significantly enhance your facial features.

Chin Implants

Chin implants are placed to give the chin a more pronounced look and to create more proportionate facial contours. The implants are placed through incisions either on the inside of the mouth or on the underside of the chin. The implants are very pliable so that they can be placed through a small incision and then expanded into their proper shape.

The recovery period for either cheek or chin implants does not generally last longer than one week. The results with these procedures are immediate and will continue to improve as swelling subsides.
